"Firstly, I must say that Deano is simply a great guy. He is friendly, easy to talk to and hard-working - not to mention an excellent DJ, of course. We had a mid-sized wedding in a village hall, but with the lights and the music, it was transformed both physically and in terms of the atmosphere. He had all of our guests on the dance floor, catering to a mixed-age crowd and not only did he succeed greatly in unifying everyone on the dancefloor but he also got all of us singing along to the songs. He has a remarkable attention to detail and flows with the crowd seamlessly. He really made our evening special and it was a pleasure to work with. We would recommend Deano as a DJ for any occasion and we will certainly be calling on him again when the occasion arises. 10/10 for service, for style and for sound."

Dean you were brilliant last night.  I can’t thank you enough.  The Party went so well. A wonderful time was had by all and that was mainly down to you and all your hard work which you make look so easy.  So many of our friends have texted me to say what a great time they had. We all danced for hours (despite most of us being over 40!! Some like me well over 40).
Your skill is knowing what to play and picking the right moment.  So if anyone wants a fantastically talented DJ who really knows his stuff and how to ‘get the Party started’ just call Dean.
You now seem like our personal friend as we’ve met at a few parties where you were the DJ. In fact if you’re not already booked we will certainly call on you to DJ our next planned Party in the Summer.

We got married on May 18th and Deano had been recommended to us. We wanted a party and that's exactly what we got and more.. He was brilliant! Lots of music, incredible sound able to go from genre to genre no one wanted to leave the dance floor.

     Deano recently DJ’d our wedding reception and he absolutely nailed it! He was able to cater for a really diverse crowd and he kept the dance floor full until the very end of the night.
     His ability to read the crowd was amazing and every time you thought there was no way he could top the song he had just played, he pulled out another belter! He was also able to personalise parts of the set which made the night all the more special.
     So many people have made a special point of telling us how brilliant Deano was since the wedding. In fact, I’m pretty sure we will be seeing Deano again as some friends of ours who are getting married next year are already dead set on booking him!
     Best of all though, he is an absolutely top bloke and was a pleasure to deal with through the entire process..... We could not recommend him more highly!

     We all had a fantastic time and the number of "thank you" messages I got yesterday all said the same.  Without doubt, you played a huge part in making sure everyone had a great time, which they did.  In addition, Dougie (who I did try to thank on the night but he was clearly 'in the zone') was amazing.  It really did get everything off to a brilliant start so thank you for arranging that for us.

     Dean gauged the mood of our wedding celebration perfectly and the dance floor was packed all night. He arrived really early to set up and even helped us decorate the venue and calm our nerves! He was great fun to have around, gave us an idea of what times would work best for how the night should pan out - he had microphones for us to do speeches and then worked his magic! We can't recommend Dean highly enough - all of our guests commented on how great he was. The set-up - and Dean himself - was subtle (it was all about the music, and atmosphere, not the DJ) - if you want your feet to ache the next day - book Dean!

"Deano made our wedding perfect"

     Maybe being a close family friend or the simple fact that he knows how to get a party started! As soon as the music began we never stopped dancing, and when we were told that it was 1am, it felt like the party had only just begun! Every song got people more and more excited and in the mood to dance all night long... which we would have if it hadn't started to rain!
     We wish we could have danced until sunrise with Deano's tunes. He understood what kind of music we wanted and the mixed ages that he would be playing too. The thought and attention he put into creating a magical, romantic and perfect ceremony mix of songs was just unbelievable and everybody commented on how personal it was. And recommending 'Lola's Theme' for our entrance song was spot on and what an entrance we had! Still get goosebumps when we hear that song. It was just one of the best moments of our lives, you knew exactly what we would want and the party started right there!
     Thank you Deano... One of the kindest and most thoughtful men we have ever met. Thank you for making our day unforgettable. We cannot recommend him highly enough!!

"Everyone had a great night"

     When I was considering what DJ to hire for our wedding we had something of a challenge on our hands. So many of the people we were inviting to the wedding had either jobs in the events industry (particularly music) or were DJ’s themselves, so the pressure to get the music right was huge, aside from the fact that we wanted the perfect evening ourselves.
     My twin brother Neil Fearnley - who I adore - is a well-established DJ, having played in clubs like Pacha (London), Ministry of Sound, Bagleys, Garage City at Bar Rhumba to name a few. He’s played all over the world for some 30 years and I’ve spent my life heading to a club in town to dance the night away to his music. 
     Another wedding guest was Ken Walker, one of Australia’s leading DJ’s who has released over 30 albums selling in excess of 400,000 units. He hosts and produces his own national radio show (as well as various international shows) and is a platinum selling artist. He’s supported artists such as Jay-Z, Missy Elliot, Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclair, Marc Ronson and Miguel Migs to name but a few. 
     Paul Wahba, also invited to the wedding, would have been my own personal choice for a small party – I have had so many good nights out with him at the decks because his music taste aligns so beautifully with my own and he’s just incredibly good fun. And finally, there is our best man, housemate for numerous years and great friend, Daragh Ryan. He used to run a club night in London each month called Refresh which he DJ’d at, and we had many a fun night there and created lots of fond memories.
     So why didn’t I opt to use any of the above? Well, each is truly wonderful in their own right and they all offer different things, but all of them play a specific genre of music. What Dean offered was the potential to appeal to a really varied audience – in both music tastes and age. I wanted everyone to have a great time at our wedding, not just the party people we used to go clubbing with in our younger days. When I went to the BBC Worldwide Showcase gala dinner in 2014 I was enormously impressed at the DJ’s ability to get the entire ACC on the dancefloor – no mean feat. Not only was there the most diverse range of ages but everyone was from different countries and presumably had a vast array of tastes in music. 
     Many of the people I was with that evening began the night telling me they were not going to dance that night, almost scoffing at the idea... an hour later, though, and everyone was on their feet and I lost count of how many people told me it was the best night out they’d had for years.  I loved the music that night – the classics just kept on coming and, like everyone else, I had a fantastic evening.  
     The DJ was Dean Mitchell - so he had to be the obvious choice when I was selecting a DJ for my wedding and I think it was the right one. I never doubted that decision and everyone had a great night – the cool crowd, all the children who came along, alongside my older relatives – everyone was happy. And that’s really all you want from a wedding party, so thank you very much Dean!
